Adequate stay with some drawbacks

The room had all the necessary extras. I found an iron and ironing board available. There were also plenty of tea, coffee, and biscuits. The pub downstairs offered a varied menu with a good wine list..
The room felt ridiculously hot upon arrival. I turned off the radiators and opened the windows immediately. The collection of beer cans woke me up.

A GEM of a stay
generous provisions rainfall showerhead
I found the in-room provisions to be generous, offering both tea and coffee. The inclusion of bottled water and a water filter REALLY impressed me. The bathroom was nicely done. It included a large walk-in shower, a rainfall showerhead, and a separate smaller head.
The room smelled stale, as if it hadn't been aired recently.

average stay with some issues
overheated room peeling paint
the room was too warm , even after turning off the radiators. i opened the windows , but it remained uncomfortably hot. also , i noticed some dampness and peeling paint on the wall , which wasn't appealing.

The staff were very friendly. I also liked the room. It was clean. The bathroom was nice. The pub and restaurant were great.
The room felt a bit warm. There was no breakfast provided. This impacted the overall value.

the staff was friendly! the rooms were perfect.

good amenities walk-in shower warm welcome
the room had good amenities including tea and coffee it also had bottles of water i appreciated a water filter the bathroom featured a walk-in shower i found great heat and water pressure. the room was effectively soundproof i did not hear noise from the bar below. the staff provided a warm welcome they were friendly and accommodating.
the room was quite warm despite turning off the radiators
